Sunday was a Mother’s Day. We did not go anywhere to celebrate a Mother’s Day. We just opted in staying in our home to save some bucks. The same day, our baby boy turned three (3) months old. The family went outside to enjoy the day by riding the ATV – our baby got his first ATV ride with his Daddy. Baby and big sister was taking turns in riding the ATV, hubby was their driver. Later, the big sister was playing on her play house that we built lasts week. It has the swing and the slide too.

That was a simple celebration but we all enjoyed the day. The weather was cooperating. It did not rain. Hubby did all the cooking because I deserved to had a break. It was my day. Nothing fancy but I love how we celebrated the said occasion. Anyway, I already received my Mother’s Day Gift a week advance before. How I wish it is always Mother’s Day so that I can always enjoy hubby’s cooking.

My hubby is not a showy type but one thing that I really appreciate about him is his EFFORT of saying I LOVE YOU everyday and giving kisses everyday before leaving the house and when he gets home from work or from somewhere else. In that matter, he is very affectionate and I am very grateful about it.

We had been through a lot for a couple of years but I never see any disappointment from my husband. He did not changed like other husbands out there. In that aspect he is strong and I have no idea what he was feeling or thinking because he was not speaking out. Thank’s GOD we survived and conquered all the obstacles. We knew that it was not the end but we knew that we can do it. I hope that my husband will stay strong. He is my pillar and the kids pillar too.

Time could really flies so fast. I could not believed that tomorrow  we have our little guy for a month already. He is developing so well. He is a big eater. His pediatrician told me to give him 2 ounces per feeding but it is not enough. I give him 3 ounces and sometimes 4 ounces to satisfy his hungry little tummy. Each day he is getting bigger, heavier and more active. He is a funny, smart precious little baby. He would suck up his pacifier for seconds and spit it out realizing that there is no milk coming out!

I feel so lucky for surviving the first month of being a mommy to a new born again. Everything was new again. I was glad that my adjustment period did not take that long. GOD is good and he guided me all the way. My situation now is tougher than before having the toddler and the new born baby but we are getting through each day and thankful for having my family and my kids.
